[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]What would someone request for their 120th birthday? Cicilia Laurent is a lady who has lived across three centuries, and she had a special request to mark her birth on January 31st. She wanted to meet Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. She asked, “Will he come see me? I would be so happy. Before I die, I would be so happy to meet him. I’m waiting, and you can let me know if it’s going to happen.” This request shows how much Canadian residents love their country. Laurent was born 120 years ago to Erzulie Laurent in the small village of Pestel, approximately 300 km west of Port-au-Prince. She has difficulty remembering how long ago things happened, but some of her earliest memories are of making dolls and clothes. As she grew older, she made a living selling in the marketplace. She was the mother of 12 children, six who survived childbirth. Three of her children are still alive. Her oldest daughter died at the age of 96. Laurent says her secret to long life is eating well, keeping an even keel, and having faith in God. She claims she never argues with another person, never gets angry, never fights. She is a Christian and prays for the sick. The BecomeACanadian team of experts can help you apply for a visa to live in Canada, where the quality of life is high.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_basic_grid post_type=”post” max_items=”3″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1525670540187-bd5f4d10-dae2-0″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
